Prodromi Thesprotia

Prodromi Paramythias is located 30 minutes from Parga and 50 minutes from Sivota. The wider area is mostly served by the airport of Aktio which is located at a distance of 50 minutes and through which the area has a regular air connection with Athens. Nearby there are also the international airports of Ioannina (50 minutes) and Corfu. In addition to the scheduled flights, both domestic and international, there are also charter flights during the peak period for travellers with main destinations the areas of Parga and Sivota.

Near the village there are many restaurants with traditional and excellent quality dishes. In addition to the special landscape that one can admire, visitors can laso do sports activities such as mountain hiking, climbing and paragliding. The mountain range of Gorilla dominates just above the village where our villas are located, while other ideal places for hiking such as the village of Lampanitsa or the villages of Souli are within short driving distance. The cave of Ag. Arseniou, Elea Castle and Paramythia Airport are also places worth visiting.

Beaches

Many beaches, coves and small islands are located along the large and beautiful coast of Thesprotia. For the most part, Thesprotia is mountainous but with a 60 km coastline, which extends from Sagiada in the north to Parga in the south. It hosts some of the most exotic and impressive beaches in Greece.

Thesprotia. Thesprotia has beaches with fine sand or pebbles, but also rocky shores, while there are cosmopolitan fully organized beaches, but also less secular, almost deserted. With crystal clear waters, but also with the exotic colors of the Ionian, you can visit the beaches of Sivota, Perdika, Plataria and Sagiada (Red Rock, Kalami, Nautilus, Mega Ammos, Bacola, Swimming Pool, Bella Vraka, Zavia, Paraskevi , Karavostasi, Prapa Mali, Arillas, Strovili, Keramidi and many others that exist in the wider area).

Parga. Ideal for family trips, the beaches in Parga have crystal clear waters, green surroundings and are organized with many water sports centers.

The most popular beaches of Parga are Valtos and Lichnos, two large bays organized with many tourist facilities. The beaches of Parga are accessible by car or boat from the port of the city.

Preveza. The beaches of the Prefecture of Preveza extend to a length of 60 km. The combination of beaches, coves, huge sandy beaches and pine forests, create an incomparable landscape of beauty. The number of beaches in Preveza is also very large. Indicatively we mention: Kanali, Ammoudia, Kyani Akti, Kastrosykias, Valtos, Vrachos, Loutsa, Lichnos, Mytikas, Alonaki.

Sightseeing

The infinite natural beauties and the scattered monuments of history and culture of the area in combination with the genuine continental hospitality of its inhabitants compose the portrait of the area and cause the visitor the interest to discover, feel and experience the landscape that stands out in front of him.

Modern developing tourist amenities, easy access and good transport are some of the attractions of visitors. From the area there is also the possibility for excursions to the neighboring prefectures and for cruises to the opposite Ionian Islands.

Starting from the area, one can visit Arta, Ioannina with its many attractions, Dodoni, the Gorge of Vikos and Zagorochoria, Lefkada and Paxos. In addition, Parga and Sivota today have developed tourism in many sectors, being some of the most organized tourist destinations. Accommodation and tourism businesses are constantly being improved in order to better serve guests.

The wider area of the settlement of Prodromi has direct road communication with the city of Ioannina via the Egnatia Highway (40 minutes) and the city of Arta (60 minutes) via the National Road Preveza – Ioannina, with the city of Lefkada (60 minutes) via of the Aktio submarine tunnel and with the cities of Igoumenitsa (30 minutes) and Preveza (50 minutes) via the National Road Preveza – Igoumenitsa, a route with constant changes of landscape between pine-covered areas, cultivated fields and βεαθτιφθλ coastal shores.

Transport

There is no airport in the area. The nearest airports are in Corfu, Aktio and Ioannina. Corfu Airport receives domestic flights from Athens and Thessaloniki as well as flights from abroad in the summer. To go from Corfu to our area, take the ferry to Igoumenitsa and then by bus or rental vehicle.
